I believe this problems stems from Dovecot. Which on the server is marking an email Thrashed with the maildir T flag. Kmail seems to fetch/pull in these emails which is fine. But then it grays out the message. Such that it cannot be selected or deleted. If it is in a thread, you can delete the parent, with thread collapsed, and it will delete the Thrashed/T flagged email. Otherwise I have to navigate to the maildir directory containing the email and manually delete the file. Which is pretty annoying. It seems Kmail2 should either not pull in these emails. Immediate delete them, and, or not gray out. So the user can delete the message as normal. Either way Kmail2 is unable to handle them now, and I think falsely fetches them. I do not think Kmail2 is setting the T flag. Pretty sure that was set on the server's maildir. Just ends up the same in the client/kmail2 maildir on my system.
