Created attachment 104437 [details] Output generated at the 7th of March 2017, at 15.05 CET by Konsole after launching from there Kontact. Often, when trying to select an address from the address book, KMail crashes. I need to restart and retry several times before I can pick an address from there and send the mail. To this report, I attach three .txt files. Each file is a report generated by the command line, after starting Kmail from there. By doing so, I try to provide you with info from three crashes that have happened today, 7 March 2017. However it may be I have been stumbling on this problem already a few months. Created attachment 104439 [details] Output generated by Konsole at 15.19 after launching from there Kontact. Output from Konsole generated at 15.19, after the 3rd consecutive crash of Kontact/ Kmail.
The Konsole output does not help, we need the backtrace of the crash. If this is reproducible, please add it. For more information, please see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
I have the same problem: Kmail>Compose>Select "It" starts loading my address books and then - crash - and bug report dialog box. I just added a new contact. I don't think it was happening before that. I have a backtrace but don't see how to attach it. Would you like me to file a separate bug report?
