Description Nate Graham 2017-03-07 00:30:00 UTC
Plasma 5.9.2 on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, kate 16.12.2-1.1

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kate, with or without a specific document
2. Move the Kate window somewhere that's not the top-left corner, where it spawned
3. Close Kate
4. Open Kate again

EXPECTED RESULTS
Kate creates a new window in exactly the same place where the last window was closed.

ACTUAL RESULTS
Kate creates a new window in the top-left corner of the screen, not at the location where you last closed a Kate window.

REGRESSION
The window's *size* is remembered if you change it; the positioning is not.
Comment 1 Nate Graham 2017-03-07 00:36:01 UTC
Works properly in Kwrite; the window position is saved as expected.
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2017-03-13 02:46:35 UTC
Huh, it's totally stopped happening, and now behaves fine.
