It is usefull to remove metadata from photos on-the-fly while emailing them. At the moment, it seems to be possible to remove metadata in batch manager of digikam: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169230 However, this is clumsy as the user needs to create redundant copies and delete them manually after emailing. The candidates for removal are: * all metadata (like mogrify -strip image.jpeg) * privacy metadata (like geolocation, comments, copyright, tags, etc. leaving only technical metadata about the camera).
