I don't want to open dolphin, I want to mount the device and then go into my terminal and do whatever I want.

Please resume this.

If you want to do stuff in a terminal, you'd use a terminal.
If you want to use a GUI, you'd use dolphin.

I see no reason to implement some half solution in the UI.

(FYI, krunner will mount)

Clicking the "Mount" icon in the device notifier still mounts without opening dolphin.
