konsole profile with bold font style selected

When you edit konsole's profile to change font style (eg. from regular to bold), konsole will save that accordingly in the profile file, but will not apply that font style after closing konsole and opening it again (despite applying the font style to the current and new tabs before closing konsole).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Konsole with the any profile
2. Select "Edit current profile..." from the menu
3. Select "Appearance" tab.
4. Press "Select Font..." button
5. Change "Font Style" from Regular to Bold

Actual Results:
Konsole will apply the the font style to the current konsole session and will save that to the profile file, but the next time konsole will be opened it will ignore the font style (bold) and will render the font style as regular.

Expected Results:
Konsole should correctly read font style from saved profile instead of ignoring it.

Can confirm same issue with arch linux, the font selection is saved to the configuration file (it has ',bold' on the end) but opening a new konsole ignores the bold setting and puts it back to normal. Seems related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357721
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2017-06-02 18:07:31 UTC
Can you confirm this happens with Qt 5.8, but not with Qt 5.7?
Comment 3 Justin Zobel 2020-11-21 05:17:08 UTC
I've tested this on konsole 20.08.3 but I cannot replicate the issue.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I've set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.
