I guess it's because it's new in Windows altogether but so far I have problems with it not working with mpeg4 videos and mp3 saying it's invalid, and images I try and use (no matter which method to upload them--and there are a few) don't show up in the preview very well. When nothing is selected, the preview is green static. A selected image from the timeline turns it pink and slightly transparent, also distorting the image terribly. Previewing opens up melt.exe, and that doesn't work, it errors out. Also, is there a way to uninstall? I can't find it anywhere, it doesn't show up in control panel, not right-click-uninstall.. Wanted to see if that could fix the issue, but it's impossible if there's no accessible way to wipe it and try again. Also, deleting the folders outright don't help, the pop-up says kdenlive is still open somewhere in the system.
The Windows build is for experienced users only. You seem to not have followed the installation instructions correctly and did not install the ffmpeg libraries needed to work with MPEG4 video material. Also, as there is no install, there is no deinstall; simply delete the folder with Kdenlive in it.
