Created attachment 104338 [details] preview fps Hi, It would be nice to be able to view the actual frame rate when previewing an animation, because I'm not sure that what I see for now is real time, is it always ? Maybe a 'preview FPS' information could show up when animation is playing, colored in red if the FPS is inferiour to what user as defined in the animation dock. When animation stops, it would be hidden again.
Drop frames does sorta what you want. The frames will be dropped if Krita cannot get to the speed that is necessary playing all, and if this condition happens the drop frames icon in the animation docker will turn red.
Cool, I didn't know that. Anyway, still, having the framerate displayed could be useful for 2D animators (whose will probably work with drop frame OFF)
Hovering over the "drop frames" button shows FPS stats. Let us know if there is more we can do on this one.
