I was using an older version of Krita, resized my canvas while drawing, and now it lags when I am drawing. I can draw a line on my art tablet and it takes 2-4 seconds to register into the drawing. This makes it very difficult to continue sketching as I use short quick line strokes in the sketching phase of my work. I updated to the most recent version, hoping the issue wouldn't persist, but it is still an issue. And it isn't an issue with my computer, as Krita is the only program which is lagging.
I'm sorry, while I am happy that you've taken the time to make a report, this is not a useful bug report. Krita does not "lag" in a generic way. If you experience problems like you describe, it _is_ a local problem, caused by issues on your system. You might have created an image that is too big for your computer to handle, you might accidentally have enabled the stabilizer, there might be something running in the background that slows Krita down, but Krita does not "lag" in general, on all systems. Especially on Windows, there can be hundreds of reasons for one program to run less smoothly than another program on the same system, like enabling compatibility mode for some program. And since that's the case, there is honestly nothing we can do to investigate and fix the issue in the code. You can try to reset Krita's configuration: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration, or play with the performance settings: https://docs.krita.org/Performance_Settings, or check the tips in the faq: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Krita_is_slow
It is lagging with whatever size page I use no matter how small or big this never happened before cause i always have a lot of things going on this is the first time that it lags and I do repeat it lags with whatever size I use even if it's custom or not
