Description Tom Cunningham 2017-02-28 13:57:42 UTC
It would be nice if syntax errors in the file renaming customization dialog were flagged as such. As it is, digiKam refuses to import the selected files, without explanation. For example, if the dialog contained:

[date:ISO] #[f1,3]

A comma is missing after the 'f' character, but in this case digiKam simply reports "failed to download". Even a hint, like "failed to download - double-check custom rename syntax" would be a help.
