Description Elvis Angelaccio 2017-02-28 12:18:57 UTC
As the title says, mouse cursor in kickoff changes to pointing_hand when hovering the user icon, but clicking on the icon does nothing. Not sure if I'm missing some optional dependency...
Comment 1 Elvis Angelaccio 2017-02-28 12:28:18 UTC
Ok I was missing user-manager. Still, maybe kickoff should detect if user-manager is not installed?
Comment 2 Marco Martin 2017-03-06 15:44:34 UTC
the KCMshell import would have to also have a functionality to query for kcm modules.
this would mean a sycoca query.. would that be advisable to be exported directly in QML?
Comment 3 Alexander Mentyu 2017-08-28 07:58:44 UTC
Click click on user icon - 'User Manager' KCM window is launched with 'The shared library was not found.' text in it. After installing 'user-manager' package - KCM module is launched normally.

Elvis can this now be closed?

Seems dependency issues would be a distro issue.
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2020-11-10 13:45:49 UTC
Not relevant today as the new Users KCM lives in plasma-workspace so there is no longer the possibility of a dependency issue.
