It is not reasonable to expect anyone, neither mortal or kde developers to know which "application" to choose. Possible solutions: - Add tool to allow bug reporter to identify the application/componenet/widget/libary that is causing the problem.
Please report this to the applications where it happens. For example, when I use "Report Bug..." with Dolphin, the "dolphin" product is automatically selected. This should be the default with all applications.
