With a number of open tabs open in KrViewer, the application window loses focus every time you close a tab.

Expected behavior: the application window should stay active while there are open tabs in it.

I guess it was meant to be a feature. You open a file in Krusader, close it again in the view and you are back in Krusader.
Anyway, behaviour will be changed by a patch: https://phabricator.kde.org/D6850?id=17054
