(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: KDE 2.2.2 Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Not Specified OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified Hi folks you KDE-guys did a phantastic job. Thanks a lot. As a rather normal desktop user I now feel obliged to report my experiences with KDE. What I really would love to see is the option of printing selected text in Konqueror. Sounds simple but I bet it's hell of a job to implement it (I only know the MS IE that is capable of that feature). Why I am still prefering Opera compared to Konqueror despite the poor rendering engine of 5.0/6.0tp3 is the offline management of Konqueror which I not really understand (yes I did RT[F]M) - usually offline-browsing is not working very well (what is expensive to me) - often I was told to check my "working environment" (literally translated). What I love with Opera is the often critized single document layout - I only have to open Opera every morning and all my favorite news sites are there. Very convenient to me. - Can I do that with Konqueror as well? If not it would be nice to. Finally: thank you so mutch for the KDE environment. I am most impressed of the Linux-*idea* (i.e. free software) but I guess I would not have made it without a nice desktop. 'Hope to give back in the near future (my IT capabilities are rather limited) Achim Kielhorn (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
