screenshot of colors kcm and krunner

Whatever colorscheme I select in the colors kcm, krunner (Alt-F2 search input textfield) does not honor my settings.

See attached screenshot.
I selected Honeycomb and applied. It is used when I e.g. click the configure button on the krunner (Alt-F2 and Left tool button), but it is not used inside the text entry field.

The main problem I have here is also that it uses blue highlight color as background and black as text color, although the selected-text color is white to have good contrast. I don't know from where krunner takes that colors but it's not from the selected scheme.

the screenshot shows that it has air as plasma theme, which is *not* supposed to follow the system color scheme (this is something that depends from the plasma theme itself)
the breeze theme follows the system colors

Can you give me a hint which file needs to be changed to follow the color here, please ?
Is this in a qml file or is this somehow svg magic ?
