Plasmashell ignores mouse button clicks on the panel sometimes, which is annoying. To reproduce: Right-click on a panel. Don't select anything in the context menu, instead click on any open window, but not the panel, then the context menu will close. Then move the mouse back onto the panel and right-click. This time the right-click is ignored, and the context menu doesn't open. Again, right-click on a panel. Don't select anything in the context menu, instead click on any open window, but not the panel, then the context menu will close. Then move the mouse back onto the panel and left-click. The left-click is ignored, and no action is triggered. * right-click on panel, left-click in window, right-click (or left-click) on panel -> nothing happens * right-click on panel, left-click on panel, right-click (or left-click) on panel -> working What should happen: Clicks on the panel should immediatly trigger an action instead of being ignored.
I can reproduce this issue, too.
Can't reproduce this bug in: Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition - Stable Branches Plasma: 5.11.3 Frameworks: 5.41.0 Qt: 5.9.2 Kernel 4.10.0-38-generic Type: 64-bit
Lukas, Vladyslav please include your Qt and frameworks version. There was a commit that's relevant, potentially after the version you're using.
Looks like it's fixed now. qt5-base 5.9.2-1 plasma-framework 5.40.0-1
