Hi, In "Look and Feel" system settings I click on "Get New Looks". I install one of the new look and feel themes for KDE 5.9. The "Install" button becomes "Installing" and then "Uninstall" meaning the theme is downloaded and installed. But the new theme is not added to my look and feel themes. If I go and install it again, it asks "Overwrite existing file in /tmp/*** ?" And the same thing happens. Thanks
Works for me in a VM with recent neon devedition gitunstable (Qt 5.7.1, Frameworks 5.31, Plasma 5.9.90)

Click on the name of the theme so it opens in your browser, hit the "file" tab then "?" right to the "install" bottom and fallow the instructions. This may help you for the specific theme you want to install.

I did as you said, in the "?" button it was told to insall xdgurl. I installed xdgurl and clicked on the "install" button as instructed. A dialog opened "Do you want to install XXX?". I clicked OK, download finished and a dialog appeared "Installation successful". I clicked on "Open". It opened "~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/", but the directory is empty and the theme is not in my "Look and Feel" themes. Even by downloading and manually unzipping the theme to its place it is not shown. After some tinkering it seems that I have problems only with some themes using xdgurl. Can themes be platform specific or something?

Can themes be platform specific or something? Well "Look and Feel" is more of a bundle of visual settings/themes for the desktop (colors, window decoration, desktop theme, etc). As far is know with the exemption of "icons" and "mouse cursors" they are KDE specific. For me all of the available ones but https://store.kde.org/p/1084930/ and https://store.kde.org/p/1149921/ install fine. Some have icon issues though. Which is the one giving you problems?
I tried to install almost all themes available in GHNS - and only DBreeze ImageSplash Modern Ricciolo Velours and Adapta themes installed Plasma: 5.12.1 Apps: 17.12.2 Frameworks: 5.43.0 Qt: 5.10.0 Kernel: 4.14.19-1-MANJARO OS: Netrunner Rolling
Works for me. Can you reproduce it?
