If I start gvim from a shell, e.g. bash + konsole, and type the command `:tab new` then a new tab will be open, and it's easy to distinguish between the active and inactive tab;

If I start gvim using the application launcher "Applications -> Utilities -> GVim", and then do a `:tab new`, then it's very hard to distinguish between the active and inactive tab.

Please see the attached image.

Can confirm. Not sure if this is caused by a Breeze-GTK bug, or if the app is using a custom style that just doesn't work.

Can't reproduce. The tab style here is done by a GtkNotebook, which renders with a style that distinguishes between active and inactive tabs for me.

Going to mark as WORKSFORME, considering that even on a new system a year later, I can't reproduce this. Reopen if you can still reproduce.
