Description H.H. 2017-02-03 16:59:30 UTC
When I check the option in kwallet settings to close the wallet, when the screen-saver gets active, this option has no effect on suspending the system.

There should be an option for this. I almost always put my system to sleep instead of shutting it down, so anyone could access my kwallet if I do not explicitly close it.

What about this bug? I think it is a security problem.

I also see this behaviour. Not only with suspend but also with poweroff. The strange thing is that the wallet is supposed to close after 90 minutes automatically but if the machine is shutdown or suspended during this period then the wallet doesn't close.

I think these features are required:

1. Close wallet after poweroff or suspend. This could be provided as a checkbox in the application.
2. Close wallet based on "time of day" not "minutes" it is active for. For example, if the wallet opened at 1100 hours then it should close if current time has crossed 1230 hours, assuming the wallet is supposed to close after 90 minutes, irrespective of the time wallet has been active.
