I install openSUSE on my laptop After I switch from wicked to NetworkManager I tried to connect to my hidden Wi-Fi network I add new Wi-Fi connection to the Connection editor but the network manager not found it I try also to specific the mac address (SSID) but its not work either... In fedora it work perfect In wicked network manager in the openSUSE its also work After I searching on Google I do this: iwconfig wlp2s0 essid hidden_network And then the widget recognize the network and connect to it
We rely on what NetworkManager provides to us, it's possible that in openSUSE you had older version of NM while in Fedora it works as it should with newer NetworkManager version. I also think that you need to mark your connection as hidden (there is a checkbox for that) when configuring your network.
I try to set the connection to Hidden But on fedora, and now on openSUSE, the connection just disappear from the applet... And I use openSUSE tumbleweed - rolling release All the package updated to the last version
Is this still a problem with latest Plasma 5.19?
