Description Chris Holland 2017-02-02 18:30:58 UTC
Not 100% if this is the fault of KDE Neon for probably deleting `/usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/` then unzipping the update, or if it's intentional for theme.conf.user and the wallpaperFilename.ext to reset every update.
Comment 1 David R. Bergstein 2017-02-02 20:27:19 UTC
Noticed this issue after upgrading to KDE 5.9.0 User Edition. I was unable to reset the wallpaper from systemsettings.
Comment 2 Chris Holland 2017-02-02 20:35:55 UTC
Huh you're right David. Just checked that it's still blue by opening a new session.

I didn't actually check to see if the theme.conf.user and wallpaper was deleted. Guess they might have just been ignored, like they are now.

A possible dublicate of the Bug 370521 - [Regresion] SDDM breeze theme unable to change backgound - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370521
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2019-12-06 18:17:27 UTC
Can anyone still reproduce this?
Comment 5 Filip Fila 2019-12-06 18:27:49 UTC
I haven't been seeing this in the recent releases. The SDDM theme points to the Next wallpaper.
