Description Philippe ROUBACH 2017-01-29 16:09:09 UTC
opensuse 42.2 x86_64
kdeconnect-kde 1.0.3
kdeconnect-android 1.5
Samsung s2 plus (android 6.0.1)

i can copy-past a file to my smartphone to "Download" folder but not in other folder as "Movies" for example.

"past one file" option stays in gray
but
if i create from my pc with dolphin a text file in "Download" folder then

"paste one file" is not more in gray then i can past file!

with dolphin i see all properties are same for "Download" and "Music"
with mixplorer (in smartphone) i see all properties are same for "Download" and "Music"

opensuse leap 42.2
linux kdeconnect 1.0.3
android kdeconnect 1.6.5

Samsung s2 plus android 7.1.2
Samsung s7 android 7.0

we can only copy past a file to /storage/emulated/0/ folder.
in any sub-folder as "Documents", "Music" etc. we can't copy a file

i found a workaround

create via kdeconnect from you pc in each of those folders a folder then delete it. Now you get the right to copy-past a file to s2 plus

do not delete the folder you created. if you delete it and if the folder is empty you lost the right to copy past.
