Created attachment 103695 [details] output of crash handler with kolourpaint 16.08.3 on plasma-desktop (debian testing /stretch) I did the following: -Open kolourpaint -press "t" or select the Text Icon -click on the font selection DropDown control -change the font to any other that was not previously selected -click on the font selection DropDown control again -the program crashes. (see attachment) It is reproducable for each time I try it.
The stack trace shows only frames from the Qt library, and I can not reproduce it here. I assume that you might be able to reproduce a similar crash in some other KDE/Qt application, since the stack does not reveal any kolourpaint specific things. The stack does not contain debug information (no source line numbers) so I even can not check where in Qt it crashes. If you still can reproduce it, you should install Qt debug symbols (at least for Qt widgets) so I can analyze it.
