Hi,

the 16px and 22px icons are monochrome. KMail uses 22px folder icons. Dolphin also uses 22px icons for the detail view by default.

Those monochrome icons make everything look very bland in KMail and Dolphin.

For Dolphin, there's a workaround, i.e. increase the icon size in the Dolphin detail view to at least 32px.

For KMail I do not see an option to increase the icon size (is there any such option?).

Why do the small icons have to be monochrome?

Could you please fix that?

Because it is a design decision. You can use other icon themes if you want to.
