I run Krita 3.1.1 on Windows 7 64 bit with default options except for autosave and the inclusion of the Deevad brush bundles. Autosave is set up to run every 4 minutes, with occasional hangups preventing Krita from registering further inputs (the screen is not "whited out" at this time", and the cursor icon does not give the tell-tale "waiting" blue ring symbol). Windows task manager lists Krita using 1.3 million K on computer memory, even when the canvas is less than 800x800 pixels and there are fewer than 10 layers present on the only canvas/picture file open. After approximately 1-2 hours of work, Krita unexpectedly crashes while either autosaving or registering a pen stroke. Half the time upon reopening the file, the file is as it were at the moment of the crash, with the other half being from the last manual/autosave point.
Hi, Please follow the instructions here: https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger to get a backtrace, so we can try to figure out what is happening on your system.
