Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2017-01-28 21:29:46 UTC
My system with 8Gb of RAM started swapping.

Then in yakuake I could no longer open new tabs because within it,

Apparently, most of the memory was occupied by the 2 open tabs in yakuake.

Do you still have this issue w/ recent versions? The one thing to check is what type of history/scrollback you're using (fixed or unlimited).
Comment 3 Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2018-03-08 08:23:56 UTC
I haven't encountered the bug in a while, but I haven't checked the size of the scrollback files.

I use unlimited scrollback but I clear it with ctrl+shift+k when I want.

I was encountering that I had big scrollback files even though i had cleared them.
