Screen will not lock while open windows or desktops are shown over the screen. Either if you try waiting out the set timer, use keyboard shortcut on even close the laptop lid to sleep the computer the screen will not lock.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
-either show display all windows or desktops on screen
(in my specific case I'm using "Screen Edges" to set these actions on corners of my screen)
-wait, press screen locking shortcut or sleep the machine

Actual Results:  
Screen stays unlocked (wakes from sleep unlocked)

Expected Results:  
It should lock the

This is a well known and not fixable design limitation of the X11 windowing system. Our Wayland implementation does not have this limitation.

Unfortunately on X11 there is nothing we can do about it.
