I have configured my laptop (trough systemsettings) to mirror the screen over the HDMI port. So whenever I plug an external screen, it automatically mirrors.

However, when that happens, the wallpaper changes to the default KDE one. Upon unplugging, the wallpaper goes back to normal.

I think it should stay the same, especially since the screens are just mirrored and there is no decision to make.

Cannot reproduce in Plasma 5.18. Can you reproduce this issue in Plasma 5.17 or the 5.18 beta?
