After recent update, perhaps to okular 16.12 (it may be 16.04 or 16.08, only I haven't noticed yet), scrolling by mouse wheel is broken. I very suspect this to be a genuine Qt5 bug. What I do: * click somewhere in the PDF document * scroll down by wheel * click somewhere in the PDF document again * scroll down by wheel again What happens is that the second scroll starts exactly where the first started. So it actually jumps to the position as if the first scroll never happened and starts scrolling from there on. I actually need not to click anywhere in the document. It is enough to switch to another window and continue scrolling in the PDF document -- it always jumps back. okular update activity: 2015-10-19 08:56:31|install|okular|15.08.1-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|dfb3cd4078a7ee603649922dd7e1227ddb01eacd| 2015-10-28 09:38:56|install|okular|15.08.2-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|677b4ae12073bcb1f148ff088fb3abb927f59950| 2015-11-22 17:44:31|install|okular|15.08.3-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|841eea27c9382abdc43659103694e0d9ba325c94| 2016-01-27 10:44:25|install|okular|15.12.0-1.2|x86_64||repo-oss|2e13d9db644338fe2ad135506ae8d4b04599d927| 2016-02-11 08:57:06|install|okular|15.12.1-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|3b3969fc66e4d06539a63991a0ba54676af57947| 2016-03-14 15:02:26|install|okular|15.12.2-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|3ff3ef063d6f55088a99cff21f0cefb50dad71a0| 2016-04-09 16:41:59|install|okular|15.12.3-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|1e335bb1ec55cb8c53629898ded236c27eac3663| 2016-05-11 17:49:56|install|okular|15.12.3-1.2|x86_64||repo-oss|d0d2dc86a294337b47794b7d0f71b4602e5bc8d0| 2016-06-08 07:30:59|install|okular|16.04.1-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|d07dbfe284c2954c17902400cb278d0229fd77f0| 2016-06-27 11:35:19|install|okular|16.04.2-1.2|x86_64||repo-oss|aa7679343a8c0494adbeae8d4aadb060390a6588| 2016-07-25 15:21:05|install|okular|16.04.2-2.1|x86_64||repo-oss|954abaa8ebbf3b7f2d897511cb5e0ab0cb2f7488| 2016-07-29 10:58:37|install|okular|16.04.3-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|ac9ab429ef5acebc044fdd97dfd2011561d5b25e| 2016-09-07 19:29:29|install|okular|16.08.0-1.2|x86_64||repo-oss|373d93459f554c170b3f8805f1764a6d92132995| 2016-10-05 14:17:36|install|okular|16.08.1-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|df595a3fd03a27dfaaa4110b1a38f3dabd5b9e76| 2016-11-07 12:20:45|install|okular|16.08.2-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|1e767632c1d5007ab1d1f3cb5a53818f41d45528| 2016-12-01 21:26:46|install|okular|16.08.3-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|a5b02bbe269fc86c2c90f816ce44e7f26cdbf982| 2017-01-05 08:28:09|install|okular|16.12.0-1.1|x86_64||repo-oss|7c8083cceb312244c96320ce1f7373da698db0dd|
Not sure i understand what you mean, could you record a video and upload it somewhere (youtube, vimeo, etc)?
Created attachment 103637 [details] video demonstration What I do is I scroll down using wheel and click in other window (necessary to reproduce). Both actions in a loop.
.
Hmm, this is not reproducible on a single-monitor setup (when I unplug the notebook from the docking station). I noticed the bug on a 2-monitor setup.
Hey Jiri, I can not reproduce this bug, I am also on two monitors. If the bug still exists, could you post your setup and version of plasma, kde, qt and okular in order to get an better overview? Thanks for your help! Note: I am no maintainer but from the KDE Bugsquad Tested with okular 1.3.3 under kubuntu
