With Konsole5 v16.08.3.1.fc25 and konsole5-part v16.08.3.1.fc25 installed, Krusader consistently produces the above message: "Cannot Create Embedded Terminal" when any of the various options are selected that would use or output to an embedded Konsole terminal. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling Konsole and rebooting and the same results are produced.
Krusader 2.4 but Konsole 5? Is it possible that youre system applications are mixed-up? Please try Krusader 2.5.0
Thanks Alex. Funny thing is that the Fedora repo offers NO Krusader 2.5.0 version, only the 2.4 beta. I can download and reinstall from the Krusader site; do you guys have a public signing key and checksums posted for Krusader 2.5?
Can't you use the package in Rawhide: https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/krusader ? Anyway I've added a checksum for the source package here: https://krusader.org/get-krusader/release-archive/index.html

Hi Alex ... I've installed the version from the Krusader website and it seems to work fine. I see that v2.5 is supposed to come out in Fedora 26 and so I didn't bother to enable Rawhide. I should say, with the embedded Konsole, I really like Krusader ... absolutely the best file manager out there. Thanks for the help.
What do you mean ... "Resolved Invalid"?? The 2.4 beta is not fully functional. Why is it still in the f25 repo? The embedded terminal just doesn't work and I have proved this on multiple machines and multiple distros. It should be dumped in favour of the 2.5 versions ... all of which seem to work.
This is a bug in 2.4 and already fixed (== it does not happen) in 2.5.1. That's why this is "resolved". And we (the developers) are not responsible for the version/packages state of distros. There is simply nothing we can do.
