Hi there, not sure why but my cursor disappears as soon as I move over the canvas. I can still draw on the canvas but I have no idea where my brush is and the newly painted lines only appear after I click somewhere else but the canvas. My settings were never changed in Version 3.1.1 and it worked fine before I upgraded to this version (I had something like 2.8 or so). Thanks in advance for any help
Hi Chris, Please tell us the brand and model of you computer, the brand and model of the gpu and the version of the gpu driver. Check whether the issue still appears if you disable opengl. If you're using an nvidia card, someone reported on the forum that there are certain nvidia driver settings that broke the opengl canvas. There was a video, unfortunately in Russian...
Hi, thanks for the quick response, sorry I took so long myself to answer. I have samsung np540u3c with a Intel HD Graphics 3000 and seems to be on the latest version 9.17.10.4229. Opengl in Krita was already disabled, enabling it didn't work either :/
That is really weird, because the cpu-based canvas should always work... Can you try with some different cursor options?
The problem keeps the same though I see where the cursor is the painted lines only appear once I click away from the canvas. I downloaded an older version of krita yesterday where the problem doesn't exist (2.9.8.). So I can again draw in krita but the problem is only with the newest version.
