Created attachment 103418 [details] (Video example) Most of the times, left-click on canvas doesn't deselect the "Outline Selection Tool". Steps to reproduce (video): 1) draw a selection with the "Outline Selection Tool" 2) do left-click outside it in order to deselect. Expected Results: deselect the selection. Actual Results: a new selection is created, usually too small to be seen (i.e. no marching ants). (Checked on Ubuntu 14.04 with Krita 3.1.1 appimage)
(I'm using a Wacom Intuos 4 pen tablet)
Can you also make a tablet log? I cannot reproduce this on OpenSUSE Leap 42.2 with kwin... I wonder if it's another Unity 14.04 issue.

Can be it meaningful for you? Thanks
Comment on attachment 103458 [details] (Tablet log attachment) Hm, looks like the button presses are coming through, so it's not like unity is blocking them.

Yes, I think so. I've double checked and it seems it happens mainly at the lower zoom levels (new video attached). If that was the case, maybe could it help to raise / tune the threshold (if any exists), after which starting a new selection, when at lower zoom levels? Thanks
It seems I'm not able to reproduce the issue anymore with Krita 4.2.0-pre-alpha. I'm going to close this report.
