When the cursor is close to the edges of the canvas widow, invoking the pop-up palette will result in auto selecting the brush under the cursor (as likely the cursor will be hovering over the brush icons). As this happens the palette will then close making the new selected brush active. Below is link with a video showing the issue. This is a build from master branch, on an archlinux/plasma system. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-cDWUXy4ZMmZG5RUEQ3bVVOaUE/view?usp=sharing
Hi Quiralta, I cannot reproduce this behaviour. Which window manager are you using? Is this with a tablet or a mouse?
Aw, you already said it's plasma...
Hi Boud, thanks for checking, indeed is a Plasma system on arch, I also notice this weekend that only happens with the tablet/stylus, mouse behaves normal. But now that you mention I wonder if this is a DE bug and not a Krita. Will keep checking and update if I find something else to add.
Okay, if you do, please change the status of the bug.
I can still reproduce this but since I haven't seen any other report similar to it, I think is a local issue, I can also see it on live distros, thus likely the way my tablet works, either case I work it around by not releasing the pen button until after the pop up palette appears. Closing it :)
