Description Leonardo Kaempf 2017-01-12 23:40:07 UTC
Hello,

I am using Krita on an Macbook Pro Retina (2015) with an Intuos 5 M.

When I am trying to click on a button in the GUI the stylus sends multiple signals (even more than a doubleclick).

I am explaining it by the examples brush editor and file browser:

The brush editor dialogue flashes open when I give even a very soft and short impulse but closes right after, because it receives a double click or maybe even more. This makes it very hard to enter the editor dialogue.

This also makes it very hard to navigate the file tree. It is very easy to click on sub folders when I only want to enter a directory. Even opening the wrong files when they are under the cursor while entering a folder happens very often.
Its very funny because i just found out that I normally need to double click to enter a folder. Right now I just click once and I enter the folder and even a sub folder when there is one on the same location. that means that it gives minimum 4 impulses.

I hope someone can understand my problem.

Thanks in forward

Which version of OSX are you using?

Quick update:

I found out that this behavior occurs more frequently when i have the Krita-window opened on a second Monitor (conected via thunderbolt)

Maybe this gives some hints to you.

Thanks in forward

Hm... No, no idea. I've got the same version of OSX, and I don't see it. The strange thing is that we don't handle tablet events ourselves, we get them handed by the OS, through Qt.

Please try 3.3.3 or 4.0 beta 1; those have a newer version of Qt with some fixes to tablet handling. I still cannot reproduce the issue.
