Description Kevin 2017-01-09 16:04:39 UTC
Application: plasmashell (5.5.5)

Qt Version: 5.5.1
Operating System: Linux 4.4.0-57-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Did whatever I needed to do in Windows 10 host machine, click back into Kubuntu when finished, crashes almost immediately.

Only occurs if I'm coming from BELOW VMWare/Kubuntu - NOT when I'm in the monitor next to VMWare.

- Custom settings of the application:
Not sure if related, but I added VMWare settings to enable more than just a basic mouse.
Monitor setup is 2 External Monitors + laptop - Ext are side by side, laptop screen is BELOW VMWare/Kubuntu. This was configured in Windows host.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

-- Backtrace:

Plasma requires a working OpenGL driver. Please ask in a VMWare forum how to enable hardware OpenGL acceleration; the 'swrast' driver will not work for Plasma.
