Description Szymon Łągiewka 2017-01-06 23:51:22 UTC
SDDM starts my Wayland session on TTY2.
After I HOT plugged an USB hub (from an external display) I saw for a second systemd log and then SDDM. Turned out I'm on TTY1. I switched back to TTY2. My wireless connection was now dropped, but the session seemed to be unchanged.

Dmesg output from the connection moment: https://paste.kde.org/pyibd7a89/ucnfio

After retrying the hot plug, there was no sddm-greeter segfault, but the switch to TTY1 kept happening.

Such events do not happen on X11. Though I did not try starting X11 session on TTY2 when SDDM is on TTY1 and I realize this may not be KWin/Wayland related.

Weird issue. Might be a problem in sddm.

Assuming it's a problem in SDDM. In case you have any point showing that it's a problem of KWin please reopen.
