Description Lukas Ba. 2017-01-06 23:33:20 UTC
We can split the screen into two parts (tiling) by snapping two windows left and right.

|----|----|

We can give one window a bigger share than the other by resizing both windows, one after the other.

|----|----|

|--| |----|

|--|------|

It would be nice if both windows could be resized at the same time such that both windows cover all of the screen width.

|----|----|
click^here while holding shift, then move mouse left
|---|-----|

|--|------|

|-|-------|

This could be triggered by clicking+dragging on the middle border, while shift is held, or middle clicking on the middle border.

Could also be done vertically, or with a 4 window split when resizing by clicking at the screen center.

It could also be triggered for windows which aren't snapped to any screen corner.
