Open compositor settings menu
Change animation speed (i.e. to slower)
Apply
The screen goes black
Changes to different tty's are possible, though each outputs SDDM dialog

Sorry for sending incomplete message. During the writings I opened krunner, typed compositor and pressed enter. The enter went ALSO to this form and a bug report was sent.

we used to have a bug report for it, but I don't find it in the open section, so might be fixed.
