Description Doug 2017-01-06 14:32:39 UTC
Similar to Bug 346118 but using patched plasma-nm5 5.8.2-1.1, so not duplicate.

Password credential problem/crash in Network Manager when I implement a random cloned MAC for the connection.

1. Connect to wireless network WPA/WPA2
2. Input a password saved via kdewallet, complete wireless connection
3. [usual interlude of things]
4. Clone a MAC for the wireless network, randomly, using Network Manager
5. Try to reconnect to network

Result: some kind of error, that uncleanly clears the password credential, which cannot be reentered until the wireless connection is manually reset (like with a switch on the laptop). WLAN1 cannot be found in the meantime and the connection editor displays repetitive entries for available networks that never connected.

Using OpenSUSE 42.2
Plasma Ver. 5.8.3
KDE Frameworks Ver 5.26.0
Qt Ver 5.6.1
Kernel 4.4.36-8-default
64-bit
