Nothing happens when I click on the "Choose workspace" Button in the top right-hand corner. The button isn't even highlighted when the cursor is on it like there is an option to click on it. I would like to switch to animation mode on the program. Is there any other way to do it??

It only works if you've got an image open.

Tried that, still didn't work.

Best try resetting your configuration: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration -- at this point I cannot fix any issue because I don't see the issue...
