Sometimes after using a keyboard shortcut like Cmd-Z (undo) the canvas will lock up to anything other than a left mouse click. In particular, I cannot zoom using the mouse wheel or pann by holding down the space bar while dragging the left mouse button. Instead the mouse wheel is ignored and helding down the space bar is ignored as well, dragging the mouse simply draws on the cnvas. To undo the lockup I can click some of Krita's other GUI elements like selecting a brush from the brushes docker, the zoom slider of the overview docker, the layers area of the layers docker (I don't even have to click on a layer, just the area) I am using an iMac (24-inch, Early 2009) running OS X 10.11.6. Hi, I've heard others report this is as well. I must still be doing something different, because I recently did a couple of hours of painting on OSX, but didn't see this happen. I'll keep my eyes open -- and thanks for adding a tablet log! The last lines puzzle me a bit... krita.tabletlog: "[ ] ShortcutOverride key: 0x1000021 mod: 0x4000000 text: none" krita.tabletlog: "[ ] ShortcutOverride key: 0x1000020 mod: 0x6000000 text: none" krita.tabletlog: "[ ] ShortcutOverride key: 0x54 mod: 0x6000000 text: none"
A quick heads-up: I'm moving away from macOS towards GNU/Linux, and I don't have a tablet anymore for the time being, so I have no way of reporting back on this issue.
Thanks for the heads-up!
I suspect this is another expression of the macos cursor bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 390642 ***
