Hi,

Thanks for your report. This bug happens when writing image metadata, so it must be specific for the image file you're working with. Could you attach the file (or if it's private send it to boud@valdyas.org directly) so I can take a look?

Hello! Sorry for the delay in the email. I tried doing the same process
with images I saved from other sources, and Krita doesn't crash as often as
it does with the files I had mentioned. I've attached three image files I
had used in one of the krita files that kept crashing. These images were
sourced from this website:
http://search.getty.edu/gateway/search?q=&cat=highlight&f=%22Open+Content+Images%22&rows=10&srt=a&dir=s&pg=1

Happy New Year! You guys do amazing work, btw :)

Hi,

I'm sorry by attachments to mail don't get attached to the bug report -- you have to open the bug report in your browser and use the attach button, I'm afraid.

If I use the images from the link you gave me, I cannot reproduce the crash.

The newest versions seem to have solved it; I do not experience these crashes anymore. I have been using different images and there are no issues with them
