Description Jaime Gaspar 2016-12-30 03:58:54 UTC
Created attachment 103076 [details]
"Original.pdf", "300dpi.png" and "1200dpi.png" inside "Attachment.tar"

When scanning an image with
- a scanner Canon CanoScan LiDE 220;
- scan mode Lineart;
- scan resolution 600 dpi;
the image is stretched and cropped vertically.

For example, when scanning a printout of the attached file "Original.pdf" with scan resolution 300 dpi, 600 dpi and 1200 dpi, obtaining the three attached files "300dpi.png", "600dpi.png" and "1200dpi.png" respectively, the result is good for 300 dpi and 1200 dpi but bad for 600 dpi.

Thanks for the report!

Unfortunately this is most probably an issue with the driver/backend that I don't have control over.

Could you check if you get the same problem with xsane?

Then if you do get the same problem with xsane, report the problem to http://www.sane-project.org/bugs.html

Thanks,
  Kåre

I can reproduce the bug using XSane. I reported the bug at https://alioth.debian.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=315593
