Description Raymond Wooninck 2016-12-29 08:48:59 UTC
For some time now, the Application menu no longer stores its Favorites. During a plasma session, one can add entries to the Favorites which are shown correctly at the left side of the menu, however a logout/login removes all those entries and leaves only the logout, reboot, shutdown entries.

It seems something kicker specific, as that the Application Launcher (Kickoff) is storing its favorites and retrieves them upon a new login.

I can confirm this bug exists in current git. This is very easy to reproduce:

1. Set application launcher to "Application Menu".
2. Add favorites to the application menu (will appear as icons on the left side of the menu).
3. Log off and back on.

Result: The favorites you added in step 2 are missing.
