Linux (x86_64) release 4.8.13-1-default I open a search dialog from Krusader (Ctrl-S) standing on any SMB / FTP remote directory. I look for any existent file name and when I try to open any file from the result list, Krusader main window appear showing a "Error: Folder smb: (or) ftp:) ... doesn't exist", but it DOES exist. Finally, I must go manually to that folder. Any idea about this error?
Thanks for reporting. I can replicate this problem on Krusader version 2.5.0, but I cannot replicate it anymore on current git version, so it should be fixed with the next release. Please reopen if I'm wrong about this.
Please, could you say me on what version should I try if it work? Thank you
Currently you need to compile Krusader from the git code (git clone git://anongit.kde.org/krusader) to try if the problem is fixed. After cloning the repo please refer to INSTALL file for detailed info about building the project. In case you have Arch Linux, there is a convenient AUR package for git version of Krusader (krusader-git).
Sorry, this bug is still in Versión 2.6.0 "Stiff Challenges" version. I was doubting about it was happening in NFS mounted folders, but it's not the problem. Locally it happens too :( I have the same file in two folders named: /home/Music/Pendientes/#NewAge/NewFolder /home/Music/Pendientes/NewAge/NewFolder If I look for the file, Krusader show both folders but if I click on the first one, Krusader show me only /home/Music/Pendientes/ , ignoring the rest of the folders. Is in a XFS filesystem with locale LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 , if it can help.
Please, forgot my last post, wrong thread!!! My apologies
