Description Charles Bushong 2016-12-24 13:42:23 UTC
I was trying to set reverse scrolling in Ubuntu 16.04 after installing kubuntu-desktop. I opened KCM, ticked the Reverse Scrolling for vertical. When I tested it in the "Testing Area", it did not reverse. I hit Apply, it still did not reverse. However... when testing the scroll in an actual desktop window, the scrolling actually had reversed. To be clear, the bug is only for the Testing Area in KCM.

I'm not sure how check the currently installed version of this, but it's the latest after apt upgrade. I can get a more specific version if pointed in the right direction.

I can't seem to reproduce the problem. Testing area behaves as expected.
Could you confirm the touchpad driver in use? Get the output of 'xlsatoms | grep -i tap'.

Hello! This bug report concerns the Synaptics version of the Touchpad page, which is no longer supported in Plasma 6. Can you please see if the issue still happens when using Libinput? If so, please change the status back to "REPORTED." If not, go ahead and change it to "RESOLVED FIXED", or let the bot do it automatically after a month. Thanks!
