I am trying to not use a email client in KDE and have attempted uninstalling kmail as well as putting a command under the "Use a different email client:" both with having the "Run in terminal" option checked and unchecked. Upon clicking a link which has an email in it, the system attempts to open kmail (or runs kmail.service if kmail is uninstalled). I would ideally like to open the link in my browser (chrome) which is the behavior in windows. It seems KDE ignores anything put in the default email client option if it isn't kmail.
