Description Wulf 2016-12-18 18:48:21 UTC
After Update to Framework 5.29 and KDE 16.12 with Choqok 1.6 Choqok ignores special application/window settings.
My special application windows settings:
- Apply initially
- Position: 1250,70
- Size: 375,950

Monitor resolution: 1680x1050

If I choose to enforce the window settings choqok respects the horizontal value, but not the vertical - weird

change of ~/.config/choqokrc did not help

I did not have this problem before the update.

It seems, it's only choqok, I tested also kcalc and okular, they have no problems to respect the special windows settings.

I tested with a brand new user: Same issue

I do not have different activities.

My startup window position for all windows is "centered"
Comment 1 Wulf 2016-12-18 18:50:00 UTC
addition: I always start with a clear session
Comment 2 Wulf 2016-12-18 18:56:53 UTC
addition2 (sorry):
If I close to tray and reopen the window, the window position is right
Comment 3 Wulf 2016-12-25 22:19:08 UTC
I have this problem also with PCLinuxOS KDE 5
Comment 4 Wulf 2017-10-12 17:35:13 UTC
the major problem seems to be solved with plasma 5.11

but now I have to do one more "special application setting"

"position" and "size" set to "force"

and (new)

"ignore requested geometry" set to "force" at yes
