Created attachment 102788 [details] Screenshot showing the black horizontal line bug There is a black horizontal line which passes through the centre of Kstars display and is only visible when the pointing direction coincides with for example the background galaxy. Dragging the view about makes the black line not invisible. Only when the view is stationary can it be seen. I choose to report this as a bug as I see no purpose for the line as it is invisible for the most part (black background sky). Apologies if this is not the case and it is an intentional feature. A screenshot of the bug is attached. Details of the KStars version is below:- KStars version: 2.6.0 KDE Frameworks 5.28.0 Qt 5.7.0 (built against 5.7.0) The xcb windowing system Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. * UPDATE - 31/01/17 * Currently updated to version 2.7.2 of KStars and the reported black line problem no longer exists. Thank you. KDE Frameworks 5.29.0 Qt 5.7.1
** Unfortunately this bug does still exist, if you maximise the KStars window to full screen, the black line will reappear. With Kstars running in a window (non-maximised), the black horizontal line is not visible which is a change from my last experience.
Looks like this is specific to ArcLinux as I cannot reproduce it here.
