Description devin.plompier 2016-12-13 09:06:54 UTC
Hello
I use Silence in order to send encrypted SMS. It would be nice if I could send SMS remotely via KDEconnect with Silence. Currently, when I send a SMS, it sends it unencrypted and I have no trace of it in Silence, which is annoying.

I can confirm this behavior. The same thing happens with Signal. It appears to be the result of both applications isolating their SMS databases instead of using the standard system dB.

This is something for the Android OS to figure out.
